With some unnecessary jaunts in the story like being involved in the Pearl Harbor bombing aftermath and most of the fishermen story, this film could have been slightly shorter, but in having covered a characters entire life, that long run-time can slightly be forgiven. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was one of the most anticipated movies upon its release in 2008.Even though it's been well over a decade since it hit the screens, the film still remains one of David Fincher's greatest masterpieces, snatching three Academy Awards and countless other wins and nominations. Because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The CGI is done as well as possible but still comes off less than authentic, showing the signs of the computer generated that should be more than covered up with how far technology has come. According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way that a bee should be able to fly. This device is used more like chapter markers than anything as we venture through this sordid tale and adds very little besides a few telegraphed twists not are not delved into. The story is told through flashbacks as Daisy lays in a hospital bed, very aged and on her last legs of life, as her daughter reads to her from Benjamin's journal.
